Content Management Systems Licence Agreement
1. SiteMaster Software
The SiteMaster software is supplied 'as is'. No warranty is given either implied or expressed. Purchasers use the software entirely at their own risk. SiteMaster is not liable for any consequential loss howsoever arising caused by use of the SiteMaster software. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to hardware and/or software, loss of data, loss of business, or any other financial loss. SiteMaster does not seek to exclude liability where prohibited by law.
2. Alterations and Copyright
The purchaser is permitted to make alterations to the software (except see 3 & 4 below), but the copyright of the original code remains with SiteMaster. Any software which uses any portion of SiteMaster as a base may not be resold without express written permission from SiteMaster.
3. License Number
SiteMaster will supply each purchaser of SiteMaster with a unique license number. It is a condition of use that this number is placed in the license number field in the buildpage.asp file. The license number will then be visible in the html source of every page. It is a violation of this license if the license number is not visible in the html source in the form "". If you do not know your license number or have lost it, please contact SiteMaster.
4. Alterations and Multiple Sites
Each purchase of SiteMaster entitles the purchaser to install the software on one live website and one development machine only. Further installs of SiteMaster will require further licenses to be purchased from SiteMaster. Users are expressly prohibited from modifying SiteMaster to enable one installation of the software to support multiple sites. If SiteMaster is modified to support multiple sites then a separate license must be purchased for each site.
5. Refusal to Sell Option
SiteMaster reserves the right to refuse to sell SiteMaster to any individual or organization for any reason.
6. Software Requirements
SiteMaster requires the following software to be installed and running on the host machine: Microsoft win 95/98/nt/2000/xp-pro, ms iis3.0/4.0, peer web services or personal web server with asp support, ms access db drivers. Some method of sending mail is also required (jmail, aspmail, persits, cdonts or cdosys). The above software is not supplied or supported by SiteMaster.
7. Foreign Languages
SiteMaster is designed and tested on for english versions of windows only. While we provide some documentation on running SiteMaster on double byte foreign language versions of windows (using unicode), we cannot offer support for problems related to foreign language servers since we do not possess localized versions of windows to test on. We will endeavor to assist but again request that all potential customers intending to run SiteMaster in any language.
8. Technical Support
Technical support will be provided free for six months after purchasing through our online support system. Telephone support will only be given to those who purchased directly from SiteMaster and only where purchasers have logged a support ticket and given adequate time for us to respond. Purchasers who bought via a reseller should contact that organization for tech support. The scope of tech support is limited to getting SiteMaster up and running. SiteMaster cannot support a purchaser's modifications to the software although we will endeavour to advise purchasers who intend making modifications to the software. Before contacting SiteMaster for support the user confirms that he/she has read the documentation supplied with the software and the SiteMaster support section of the SiteMaster web site. Purchasers whose free tech and upgrade support has expired may purchase further support through our online order form.
9. Refund Policy
SiteMaster does not offer a free review period for the full version of SiteMaster due to problems with piracy. To review the basic functionality, try our online demos. If you require back end access to the online demo, please contact us and we would be happy to supply access codes. SiteMaster offers refunds purely at the discretion of the company management. in order to avoid potential problems later, please ensure that you have reviewed the documentation thoroughly, tested the online demos and have satisfied yourself of the suitability of the software. If in any doubt as to whether particular functionality is included within SiteMaster, potential purchasers are urged to contact us via our web site to clarify such points. If wishing to claim a refund, please contact us via our web site stating your reasons, license number and date of purchase.
10. Copyright Messages
SiteMaster's copyright messages within the asp code may not be removed.
11. Breach and Violation of Copyright
SiteMaster reserves the right to revoke all licenses sold to a purchaser if the terms of this agreement have been breached or SiteMaster's copyright has been violated. In such circumstances, the purchaser agrees to destroy all copies and derivatives of the software in its possession within 7 days and remove any web sites containing software used in breach of this agreement.
12. Modification of License Agreement
From time to time, the license agreement is modified. When SiteMaster upgrades are downloaded, the user is acknowledging that usage of the code will be governed by the current license agreement posted at that time and not any prior license agreement that may have applied at the time of original purchase.
13. This License Agreement
This license agreement shall be governed by the laws of Australia which shall claim venue and jurisdiction for any legal motion or claim arising from this agreement. Any provisions that are subsequently found to be void shall not render other parts of the agreement void.

The terms and conditions outlined below are designed to protect and benefit all clients. In particular, they attempt to ensure that the servers are used only for legal and appropriate purposes, and that no client uses an 'unfair' proportion of the system's resources.
